Soirée Lounge & Grill at 391 Washington Street inside The Hotel at The Lafayette in downtown Buffalo is an elevated lounge and scratch kitchen opened in April 2026 by owner-operator Brenda Hardy, a culinary and entrepreneurial professional who took over the former Lafayette Brewing Company space and reimagined it with an intentional, less chaos more class philosophy built around good food, great company, and live jazz music. Hardy’s scratch-made menu features crowd favorites like mac and cheese, jerk wings, baked chicken, and a Friday fish fry, all served in one of downtown Buffalo’s most architecturally striking dining settings — a beautifully restored 1904 landmark hotel that underwent a $42 million restoration. Currently open Thursday through Saturday for lunch, dinner, and happy hour, with breakfast and expanded programming on the horizon, Soirée is an exciting and soulful new addition to the downtown Buffalo dining and nightlife scene on Washington Street near Niagara Square.
