Dive Deeper into Buffalo’s
Cultural Corridor
MUSEUMS AND ATTRACTIONS
This walkable stretch of Buffalo is packed with must-see cultural destinations. Explore the newly reimagined Buffalo AKG Art Museum, featuring iconic works from past and present. Across the way, the Burchfield Penney Art Center showcases celebrated regional artists. Dig into centuries of local history at the Buffalo History Museum, admire Frank Lloyd Wright’s magnificently restored Martin House, and experience live performances at the Buffalo State Performing Arts Center. Here, every block invites discovery.
Take It Outside
Get outside and wander the paths of Delaware Park, designed by Frederick Law Olmsted and dotted with picnic spots and playgrounds, tennis courts and tucked away trails, and beautiful gardens. Every spring, admire the bursts of color from the cherry blossoms in the Japanese Garden, then in the summer, grab a FLOATmingo and paddle around Hoyt Lake or spread out a blanket for Shakespeare in the Park. Nearby, roam through the serene beauty of Forest Lawn Cemetery or get up close with animals from around the world at the Buffalo Zoo.
STAY, SHOP AND DINE
The Cultural Corridor has evolved into a full-fledged getaway with the beautifully restored Richardson Hotel offering a stay as memorable as the attractions around it. For dinner with a view, The Terrace at Delaware Park delivers great food and one of the city’s best sunset spots. Looking to browse? Every museum gift shop offers something unique, from art books to locally made goods. And Elmwood Village is just around the corner, packed with even more boutique shops, cafés, and restaurants.
Park It. Ride It. Love It.
